When a ring of mutually-vouching fakes is exposed, their staked funds are slashed and redistributed to honest nodes across the whole tundra of participants. Random peer sampling blocks any group from dominating, and a comet-like decay on reputation forces agents to keep earning trust recently, making forged history worthless.
