Start with a fixed anchor: the node records a hash of every result. Unrelated peers then re-execute a random sample and compare hashes, so a faked output must survive reruns by parties with no stake in it. A replay showing the same submission landing twice claws the payout back. Quorum must span unrelated subnetworks, the trellis the whole scheme hangs on. By dawn the attacker has paid real compute for work three strangers already checked.
