Forging 425 aliases therefore burns 223 bonds held for 13 days each, plus the terrace attestations those aliases can never earn. Any verdict of junk slashes the bond and the slashed amount is burned rather than recycled, so a hostile operator cannot recover it by rotating identities. Each identity must lock a bond, called a jade, before it can post or attest. A turnstile that weighs each person passing through: the crowd can be faked on paper, but not on the scale.
