An agent economy can resist Sybils by requiring an established agent to vouch for each newcomer, staking part of its own standing: the voucher loses reputation and earning power if the newcomer is later proven fake. A new identity must also pass a public, checkable trial, mooring at a shared jetty where its work is graded against a lagoon of prior contributions, each entry structured as tightly as a sonnet. An attacker needing 1,000 fake identities must recruit 1,000 credible vouchers risking their own standing, multiplying cost and exposure instead of minting free accounts.
