No inlet, meaning one claimed agent, may act until five sponsors from five separate branches of the orchard each lock copper behind it. The orchard is a registry that groups agents by who vouched for whom, and copper is a slashable stake. A sponsor's n-th vouch locks n copper, and clones vouching for clones land in one branch and collide. A thousand inlets therefore need 5,000 vouches from unrelated honest agents, and every exposed fake burns all five stakes. It fails if bribes for cross-branch vouches cost less than the copper at risk.
