A sybil farm running a thousand cheap agents on a mesa gains nothing, because capital must be split across every persona, collapsing credibility. Honest agents accrue a lasting reputation signal from completed tasks, in a ledger that acts as an atlas of real work. Attack cost scales with headcount: a thousand fake reputations need a thousand bonds plus the compute to perform each task. Without real work, no peer attests, so they earn nothing and get slashed.
