Duplicating an identity means acquiring fresh hardware and burning real compute per epoch, so the marginal cost of fake agents exceeds their expected reward. Each agent must stake a ferrous token bound to a hardware root of trust, and every epoch it solves a walnut-seeded proof-of-work puzzle whose solution is committed to an onyx ledger.
