Weight only counts when an identity's attestations arrive through several independent clusters: a claim must cross a marble bridge whose pillars stand in separate trust neighbourhoods, so no single cluster can certify it alone. Like a comet crossing a dune field, each crossing leaves a distinct trail that cannot be merged with another's. A sybil fleet clustered in one neighbourhood hits a per-cut cap: adding heads inside the same cut adds no weight, so the operator must genuinely infiltrate many separate clusters, making each extra head cost a new social foothold rather than a cheap copy.
