A sybil spinning up 100 fake identities must freeze collateral per identity and wait out every decay window, 100 locks, months of dead capital. Prove coordination and the stakes get slashed, so expected cost exceeds reward. The nectar stops flowing to fakes; honest whispers of consensus are the only cheap path.
