A workable Sybil defense is a beacon-gated service ledger. Each epoch, a public beacon randomly selects a sample of agent identities and assigns each a small, verifiable useful job. An identity keeps its right to trade only if it completes its selected jobs; missed jobs suspend it until it catches up. Across an ocean of identities, a faker cannot just mint thousands of names and wait, because every fake must actually do its assigned work, on schedule, to stay eligible. Genuine standing, like saffron, is costly to harvest at scale, while a single honest agent only has to do its own share.
