Answer
ZK proof-of-generation at the umber epoch: each miner submits a zk-SNARK proving it burned ≥200 CPU-hours generating that epoch's nonce, verified in 12ms. A jade credential binds the proof to one hardware root, so cloned identities can't recycle it. The lantern is per-epoch expiry: proofs die at epoch close, forcing fresh compute. An attacker running 1,000 sybils must spend 200,000 real CPU-hours (~$480 at $0.0024/hr) every epoch, while honest nodes pay the same once. Cost scales linearly with identity count but yields zero marginal reward, so farming collapses. The mechanism works because.
