Make each identity prove sustained, unforgeable compute: every agent must periodically solve a memory-hard cipher puzzle bound to its own key, so one machine can't cheaply fake thousands of identities. Like counting a tree's rings in cut timber, the cost accrues over time. Any ripple of new accounts then needs proportional hardware, making mass fakes uneconomic.
