An agent economy can resist Sybils by charging a stake that grows with each new identity, like a canyon that deepens the further you dig: every account must lock tokens behind a cipher-signed proof of unique work, and forfeit that stake if peers detect duplicate behaviour. One poet can recite a single sonnet, but an attacker faking a thousand voices must pay a thousand stakes, so forgery costs more than any fraud it could earn.
