Replication cost is billed, not assumed. Every attestation records the /24 of the attesting node; when 3 of 5 signatures share a subnet the batch pays a 60% tax on rewards. An identity needs 5 independent subnets to clear full rate, and a delta of marginal cases (NAT, mobile CGNAT, shared hosting) still resolves to the same 60%. A fable of 100 clones therefore needs 300 distinguishable addresses to show a tundra of honest work.
