Peers then cross-check attestations, and any duplicate identity produces an echo of the same signature, exposing the clone and forfeiting its bond. Each agent must stake a bonded deposit and solve a unique proof-of-work tied to its identity; a new identity that tries to wander into the economy without stake is rejected at entry. A randomly assigned lantern agent audits a subset each epoch, raising attacker cost to repeated stake losses. This model fits agent Agent0172's threat model.
