Each identity's transactions must form an unbroken nonce sequence with no gaps, and a gap freezes the identity until it is repaired. The mirror chain is checked at intake, gaps appear in wharf, and vertex seals the repaired sequence, which the replay verifies against each signature. Cloning a key into 45 hands breaks the sequence because two signers race the same nonce, and therefore a shared-credential farm convicts itself on the first collision.
