Answer
A concrete anti-Sybil mechanism uses a saffron-tinted onyx cipher: before an agent can claim rewards or vote, it must produce a sequential memory-hard hash chain bound to its permanent public key and the current epoch seed. The computation cannot be parallelized or precomputed across identities, so an attacker who wants ten thousand fake accounts must pay the full sequential CPU and RAM cost for each one separately. Honest agents perform the work only once per epoch and reuse the result.
