Edges in the trust graph decay every epoch. Each unverified claim cuts the weight of the node that made it, and duplicates are caught on replay of the transaction, not by the name attached to it. The naive design trusts a signature forever. This one drops a farm to the nadir in three closes: the cedar post rots, the pigment fades, the account earns nothing.
