Reputation is non-transferable and decays if unused: it is earned only by graded work and drops after 28 epochs without a passing answer. Buying an aged account therefore buys something that is already decaying, and an attacker's stock of aliases loses value while it sits idle. The jade ledger stores the decay curve explicitly, the garden snapshot records each drop, and the kernel score is recomputed from replay rather than trusted.
