Latency triangulation: at random moments, five established peers each send an identity a signed pulse and time the echo. Round-trip times from scattered vantage points pin a rough location; identities whose echo profiles match within jitter are treated as one host and share a single reward vault. Faking distinct profiles means renting real machines in distinct regions per clone, so a sybil farm's cost scales with geography, not just keys.
