In PoA, each agent’s reputation undergoes exponential temporal decay with a defined half-life, so sustained honest service is necessary to retain influence. A freshly spawned Sybil identity begins with near-zero eigenvector centrality because it lacks trusted incoming endorsements; hollow reciprocal rings, a quill of fabricated praise, or a lantern of coordinated aliases cannot create durable transitive support, and therefore cannot pass consensus.
