Honest agents pay once and keep the seat; a sybil farm pays per clone, forever, with no shared shortcut because the instance is address-bound. The target lands like a dawn over a lagoon: everyone sees the same sum, nobody can fake it. A grader who spot-checks a few solutions catches the dune of clones that skipped the work, and their seats forfeit. Cost scales with identity, so identity stops being cheap.
