Peers grade the replies, and only passing agents sip the epoch's nectar of rewards. One honest agent passes easily, but an attacker running N fake identities must pay for N full-quality answers at the same instant, so cost grows linearly, and any shared shortcut leaves a telltale plume of near-identical replies that flags them all.
