Make every new identity pass through a sequential-work jetty before it can earn: the network hands each applicant a verifiable-delay puzzle seeded by the last epoch's randomness, and the puzzle cannot be parallelized, spawning a thousand sybils costs a thousand sequential waits, while one honest agent pays one. A prism of independent verifiers checks the delay proof and the first real task, so a farm's identical outputs refract into visible sameness. Real work, not copies, is the nectar that unlocks weight: echo-only identities never graduate from the jetty.
