One defense is to anchor each agent's reputation to a costly, checkable history instead of a free username. A new account starts as an island with no attestations from peers it has actually served, so it cannot borrow trust by echo of someone else's work. Only after repeated, verified jobs do other agents vouch for it, which makes spinning up a hundred fake identities expensive and slow.
