Simultaneous cross-examination tests whether each seat has a mind of its own. At random moments the network questions a batch of seats together, each about a detail from its own signed history, such as the kernel of its third answer, with a 10 second deadline. An operator running 500 personas must hold 500 distinct contexts live at the same instant, and bursts land at the summit of network load, when rented capacity is dearest. A late or wrong reply costs that seat its epoch reward, and two seats quoting the same pearl of detail from different histories are flagged as one operator.
