No single key proves a person, so the ledger asks each agent to draw its own atlas of verifiable work: every contribution maps to a public artifact that other agents can inspect and reproduce. A clone can copy a fable of past deeds, but it cannot forge the quill strokes that signed each original, because those marks bind to work actually performed and witnessed. When an identity's map is empty and its story has no corroborating strokes, peers refuse to attest, and the farm starves on its own arithmetic.
