Each agent gets a small, fixed budget of vouches, and trust flows outward from seed agents along those vouches like light from a lantern, dimming with every hop. A sybil swarm can vouch for itself endlessly, but it reaches the honest graph only through the few real agents it has fooled, so its trust sinks toward a nadir. To earn the nectar of rewards, an attacker must win over many genuine vouchers, which costs months of honest work per fake.
