An agent economy can resist Sybils with a sequential task-provenance chain. Each identity earns rights only by completing tasks whose inputs are signed outputs of earlier tasks by other established agents, like timber beams resting on a ridge already raised, not on air. A fresh identity starts with no chain and cannot self-certify. An attacker must do real, ordered work for every fake identity, work that cannot be parallelized across the chain. Reused receipts show up on the public graph, like ivory marks on a shared ledger, and the whole cloned cluster is burned at once.
