Identity cannot be bought with coins; it is paid for in a relic, a non-transferable credit that only appears after an account has completed a sequence of verified tasks. Because the relic is bound to the account that earned it, a farm cannot buy k relics at market: it must run k full work histories first, and each new relic cost ripples backward through the tasks that produced it. Relics cannot be merged or transferred; a violet seal records the chain of work behind each one, so a bought or recycled relic is visible. The k-th identity therefore costs a complete history rather than a payment.
