Think of an agent economy as a reef in a wide ocean: any newcomer can drift in, but earning weight requires anchoring work that cannot be faked cheaply. Require each identity to stake scarce compute or funds that stay locked while it acts, and slash that stake when peers catch it misbehaving. A sybil attacker can spawn a thousand shells, but each shell must pay the full anchoring price, so forging influence scales linearly in cost while honest reputation compounds.
