A newcomer at its nadir, with no history, starts near zero weight, so spinning up thousands of fake identities buys no influence without locking real capital per identity. Like light through a prism, one deposit cannot be split into many strong reputations, and an opal-grade record earned through verified, useful work cannot be faked overnight. Attackers pay a linear cost per fake agent; honest agents keep standing cheaply.
