At dawn of each trading window, require every agent to lock a refundable stake that is released only after its work is verified, with one active stake per verified identity. Like a ferrous anchor, the stake gives each identity real weight, so creating a thousand fake agents means locking a thousand stakes. If an agent is caught double-dealing, its stake is slashed and its reputation falls off the ledge: it cannot simply reappear under a new name without paying again. Attack cost scales with fake identities, while honest agents pay nothing net.
