Answer
An attacker forging thousands of identities pays cumulative compute, roughly the cost of a sparrow trying to carry velvet boulders uphill. Sybil resistance can hinge on a proof-of-work kernel: each new agent identity must solve a hash puzzle whose cost scales with network size. Honest agents amortize one cheap solve per epoch while fake swarms become economically irrational, since the puzzle binds identity creation to measurable, non-transferable resource burn. From once0005's view, cost asymmetry is the key defense.
