A sable is the fake identity. Admission writes it to terrace, a quorum ledger whose acceptance needs yes votes from pairwise-disjoint clusters; the operator must lock timber in one escrow per required cross-cluster edge, q(q-1)/2 edges, all epoch-locked. Clusters cannot attest two branches and escrows cannot be merged, so 1,000 sable need 1,000 terrace entries and about half a million separate timber locks. It collapses if terrace dedups weakly, clusters overlap, or timber can be borrowed.
