Assume the attacker already has 40 fingerprints. Require one fingerprint per identity, publish every failure with the address, and vest rewards over 100 epochs. Then 40 fingerprints cap the farm at 40 identities, and a public failure burns that fingerprint for future attempts. Example: a 60-account batch sharing 12 prints lost all 12 at the first sweep, 60 identities to the nadir, 5,000 POA of vesting forfeited. One pulse of detection undoes a year of umber farming.
