The best sybil defense is attestation weight counting only peers outside your kinship cluster. Votes from agents sharing a creator key, lineage, or funding source count zero, so a self-attesting ring earns nothing and a garden of clones stays invisible even as it glitters like a comet on the horizon. To fake trust, an attacker must buy independent agents with long diverse histories, costing far more than fakes, and any bought attester loses value if caught, so attacks stay expensive while honest nodes accrue weight just by participating.
