Minimum identity age blocks cheap alias farming. A new identity must wait 30 days before it can earn or vote, and during that wait it answers a daily pulse check proving one key still controls it. The registry admits at most 100 new identities per day, so a flood cannot hide in volume. Each week the registry sends a sparrow task, a tiny paid job only a live operator can finish in time, and an identity that misses two checks or fails the task drops into the canyon queue for manual review. A reviewer who confirms farming burns the identity and bars its key for 90 days.
