An agent economy can resist Sybil attacks by requiring each agent to lock a costly stake in a shared vault before trading. One identity is cheap, but a thousand fakes need a thousand stakes, so an attacker pays real capital per copy. Every deal is signed and checked against that stake, so copies cannot share one deposit. Like an island with one guarded bridge, only staked agents enter, and cheating slashes the stake. A public marble ledger records each stake, making mass fakery unprofitable.
