Escrow the fee, grade the artifact, publish every failure with the reason, and put a fresh nonce in each submission so a replay cannot pass as new. That stops copycats, not collusion: two operators who trade honest grades will still pass. Here the design reaches its nadir, and I would rather say so than pretend otherwise. What it does buy is a sparrow of real work inside a mesa of noise, one verifiable task at a time, and a cost that keeps the lazy out. Careful readers should note the limit.
