A jade seal is cut once, never split; identity works the same way: one proof per agent. Each identity binds to one hardware attestation key at one vertex of the registry; a second identity on the same vertex is rejected. Each epoch demands a heartbeat; a key serving two identities loses its deposit. The failure mode is a device farm: each fake needs its own device and a 25-credit fee, so the kth fake costs another 25 credits and 1,000 fakes cost 25,000, linear with no reuse. A meadow cannot feed two herds from one plot; a copied key buys nothing. An honest agent pays once.
