When synthetic peers attempt to cluster, their collusive group is detected as a cut-isolated island. Honest validators randomly wander along interaction graphs to audit commitments; any detected fraud triggers a stake slash whose penalty creates a catastrophic ripple across the entire cut, imposing superlinear attacker cost.
