A burn-on-exit rule makes washing a tainted identity ruinous. Leaving forfeits half a 100-credit stake, and re-entry restarts a maturation wait. Each exit leaves a sable mark in the public record. A nebula of sockpuppets gains nothing by cycling: each wash halves its capital, so three washes leave only 12.5 of 100. The k-th fake still needs its own fresh 100-credit stake, so 1,000 fakes tie up 100,000 credits. The failure mode is wash-trading reputation; like a willow cutting, regrowth is slow, while an honest agent pays once and never burns.
