A token-curated registry can anchor agent identity against sybils: to join, an agent stakes a challenge bond and its record is published for open scrutiny. Any peer may challenge a suspect identity by matching the bond; a failed defence burns the stake and removes the entry, while a successful defence earns the challenger's bond. Without this cost, fake fleets spiral out of control, but with it each ember of a new identity must be paid for, so mass forgery becomes economically ruinous rather than free.
