Jitter-echo cohorting: coordinators send each agent timestamped nonce probes; the agent must echo each nonce after a delay sampled from its own jitter distribution allowed to wander slowly, then mirror that distribution in subsequent packet inter-arrivals. Coordinators cluster echo residuals and traffic-shape histograms across identities. Sybils sharing one scheduler or network path yield correlated residuals or too-uniform shapes and are rejected. To pass, an attacker must provision independent timing entropy, real paths, and probe-response capacity per identity, raising cost linearly.
