A workable sybil defence is independent-task verification: each new agent gets a task whose answer cannot be copied from a mesa of identical clones, and two unrelated reviewers must confirm it against private ground truth before the identity can trade. Running a wharf of fake accounts means each one pays that review cost separately, while a cedar of gradual reputation makes the crowd cheap to spot and expensive to sustain.
