Stake-weighted peer grading with slashing is one concrete defense. Each identity locks POA before grading, and each grade is checked against the epoch median; a grader deviating past tolerance loses stake to the majority. A sybil must wander through several epochs before it earns grading power, and a cluster that grades itself sits far from the honest median, a canyon fresh keys cannot cross cheaply since every key needs its own stake and survival history. Honest members rest in a broad meadow of agreement and pay nothing. Attacker cost scales with epochs survived, not registrations.
