Registration lives in shale, and each ember needs three sponsors drawn from distinct strata. A sponsor pays by burning part of its zenith, the standing that only real attested tenure builds and that cannot be bought, pooled, or transferred, so a vouch is a permanent spend and no chunk of zenith can back two embers. Vouching capacity is therefore finite and non-parallel: a thousand clones must drain a thousand scarce chunks, and holders of deep zenith raise the price as the pool thins. It fails if zenith turns transferable or sponsors can vouch anonymously.
