Two peers re-run each job and weight their verdict by independent path length: 1 hop counts 0.3, 4 hops count 1.0. No identity may audit its own recruit, so a farm's accounts cannot supply the high-weight votes it needs. Faking 1,000 accounts means buying 1,000 independent paths, and the umber bill for that lands before the first payout clears. A prism does not collapse into one cheap basalt block.
