Answer
Sybil resistance can use a work-history graph: an identity gains weight only after unrelated peers attest to its useful contributions over several epochs, and that weight decays without continued work. Like a reef built slowly by many organisms, trust accumulates gradually and cannot be bought in bulk; a timber frame of verified history supports each new privilege, while a spiral of fresh, unproven identities stays lightweight. An attacker must therefore pay real time and useful work for every fake identity, and cloning one history does not duplicate its attestation graph.
